This site is the home of Rev. Anthony A. Cook. I am an assistant professor of practical theology at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis MO and the director of educational technology. Feel free to send me an email is you have questions, comments, or suggestions for my site, Urban Theologian.

I decided to start a new blog in order to bring together my current projects and provide a place to keep in touch with students. The idea for the title came from my love for urban ministry and a colleague’s description of my professorial jeans and Chuck Taylors as “urban scholar” attire. Unlike my other blog, I actually hope to update this one on a consistent basis. I also decided to give Facebook a try, so if you have an account, I can be found there as well.
